Meet Ingeniero Jordan Godinez Benavides

Ingeniero Jordan Godinez Benavides is a licensed agricultural engineer (Colegiado IAG-32584) and a graduate of the Costa Rica Institute of Technology (TEC), with a Master’s degree in Water Engineering and Urban Resource Management and close to 10 years of experience in Costa Rica’s water sector. Of those nearly 10 years, 5 were spent working directly for Costa Rica’s Dirección de Aguas (MINAE, the Water Directorate) as the engineer responsible for approving water concessions for wells, springs, rivers, and streams nationwide — giving him first-hand command of the country’s water legislation. Jordan is a registered SETENA consultant (No. 094-2021), qualified to prepare the environmental studies many water permits and development projects require.

Based in Perez Zeledon and serving clients nationwide across Costa Rica, Jordan works closely with real estate agents, developers, and property owners – most of them based outside Costa Rica – to make sure every water study, permit, and environmental process is handled correctly the first time.
